Meanwhile,since the runner is under operation inside runner chamber under air pressure,it does not need to meet strict requirement such as flow channel under pressure or sealed environment.
They have the peculiarities such as decent structure, small size, high efficiency and less investment, etc. Pelton turbines manufactured by Boland can be used for water head from 80m to 1200m, the diameter of the runner is from 0.45m to 2.5m, and the installed capacity of a single unit is from 50KW to 50MW.
