Introduction
The Gansu Mazongshan Second Wind Farm 200,000 kW Project is the second phase of the Jiuquan 10 million kW wind power base allocation project in Gansu.
Geographical Location
The project is located in Subei County, Jiuquan, on the desert Gobi of the Mahair Mountains, and has the conditions for wind farm development. The wind energy resources at the project site are good, with an annual average wind speed of 7.84 m/s at a height of 70 m in the representative year of the wind farm and an annual average wind power density of 400 W/m2.
Installed Capacity
The project plans to install 50 wind turbines with a single capacity of 2000kW and 67 wind turbines with a single capacity of 1500kW, with a total installed capacity of 200,000kW and an estimated annual online power supply of 455.15 million kWh and an annual effective utilization time of 2,135 hours.
Importance
After the project is put into operation, it will save about 145,600 tons of standard coal per year, reduce the emission of soot by about 1970.6 tons (dust collector efficiency is 99%), NO2 emission by about 1683.7 tons, CO emission by about 38.3 tons, CO2 emission by about 438,000 tons and other harmful substances per year.
